The problem with being so far behind on blog posts is that I forget all the little details that made my moments so special.
But the amazing thing about being so far behind on blog posts is that I get to relive all of my moments that I captured through photo and film. It's amazing how much changes in such a short amount of time.
Here is our last week of March.
Bath time in our house is an event, people. There's no one that can make Maya laugh the way she does in the video below other than her big sister, Kate. Kate is still the apple of Maya's eye, and seeing the two of them together just melts me every single time.

In some of our spare time, we worked on some Easter Egg Art using paper, masking tape, pom poms, clothes pins, and paint. This was a successful and easy project! Win. Win.

First I traced the egg I initially cut onto four other papers and
put a random pattern of masking tape over them. |

I let Kate choose paint colors and pom pom colors and she went to
town. |
 |
I chose to use pom poms to add texture to our eggs but you could
totally use any other method of putting paint on paper. |
 |
| Once the eggs were done, we let them dry. |
 |
I promptly removed tape with some success (only a bit of the
white paper was ripped). |
 |
| And then we hung them in the play room. |
We also continued reveling in our mornings together which typically involves Kate and me going into Maya's room together when she wakes up from sleeping or napping. And, I should note, also typically involves Kate getting into Maya's crib too.

We enjoyed a quiet trip to the zoo. And by quiet I mean we were one of the few lone families there. It always surprises me how many people I don't see out even when you can dress appropriately for weather.

And we continued getting our Easter on by heading over to Mimi and Papaw's house to make Easter cookies and dye eggs.

In more Easter celebration, we headed to Thompson Park for our annual
Easter Egg Hunt. This year's was a lot more successful than last year's. We arrived way earlier so we had a lot of time before the actual candy hunt, we met up with Kate's best friend, Libby, and I didn't try to make brownies and cram a bunch of stuff in before...

Coincidentally, even though I didn't plan a bunch of stuff prior to the Easter Egg Hunt, we actually had a bunch of stuff going on today anyway. After the Easter Egg Hunt, we had Kate's first soccer practice and my parents arriving in town later.
