Newborn Photo Shoot

We decided to get newborn photos taken for Maya.  We met with a wonderful photographer last week, when Maya was exactly one week old, and captured some amazing moments of our brand new baby girl.  Our little star did really well, but I didn't expect the photo shoot to take 2.5 hours.  I learned that feeding and lulling back to sleep takes a lot of patience.  Kassie did a fantastic job and as a breastfeeding Mama I was so happy when she had some snacks available.  I became ravenous out of nowhere!

I won't load this post with lots of fluff, only the photos that we'll be treasuring forever.

We are just so in love.

Our bright eyed beauty took a little while to get to a deep sleep.
She wanted to stay awake and see what all the fuss was about!

Those little ears!  That little bum!  Oh my newborn!

This is by far my favorite of the whole lot.  I could look at this
image forever and ever and never tire of it.
