Before we got engaged, I would come home from work, we would talk about what we wanted to do for dinner and how our respective days went, and maybe go for a walk or a bike ride or run an errand. Nowadays, it feels like there is a constant hustle and bustle going on at our place. It's like the Columbus, OH version of New York City's Times Square - right in our living room, and we've only just begun!
There's so much to talk about, so much to think about, so much to look up online, and I love it! While it can get overwhelming at times, we just have to remind ourselves that everything will work out. There are so many options and so many approaches and every single one of them is different. What I love most is knowing that the way Brian and I decide to do our wedding will be a representation of ourselves for all of our guests! It will be a celebration of us and everyone else out there that mean so much to us. We are constantly saying to each other, 'I am so excited!'
So far we've stuck with the basics: putting a budget together, which adds up faster than a 5th grade math class I might add (no pun intended), researching different venues, looking into dates, brainstorming about colors, and the like. We're mainly looking into Maryland venues, but haven't completely sealed the deal on anything. (See Marry Me on how we seal the deal.) We've got a trip planned at the end of the month and a few appointments made to see some of these locations first hand so we hope to have something decided on soon.
Until then, could you just keep 2010 open on your calenders?!
