I don't know where we will end up having our wedding. I don't know what colors we will decide on. I don't know what flowers we will use, what our centerpieces will look like, or where we will go on our honeymoon. I don't even know what season we will be married in. (Rest assured that I'm not too worried about all of these things as I know they will 'fall into place'...or so they say.)
What I do know is that if we (and all our family and friends) lived in Germany, and our budget was limitless, we would have our wedding and reception here at Schloss Solitude, or Solitude Palace for all us non-German speakers. This place is incredible, in any season, with any colors, with any flowers, and with any centerpieces. The architecture is stunning and it encompasses everything that I would want in a wedding venue: beauty, simplicity, elegance, a natural landscape, an incredible view, and a million options for nearly perfect wedding photos. It's wunderbar! a) That 'w' in wunderbar is pronounced as a 'v', and b) that means wonderful, marvelous, terrific, etc. in German.
I am proud to at least be sure of one thing.
