2014: Our Yearbook

Over the last couple of years, we have put together a little post reminiscing over the special moments that we celebrated that year.

2013 - 2012

This year is no different.

All in all, I feel that 2014 was a difficult year.  We had some amazing moments.  (See below.)  We made some incredible memories.  (Also see below.)  And watching our little girlie grow into the confident toddler she is becoming has been the greatest gift of all of life thus far.

But, overall, this was a challenging year.  There was loss and sadness, there were trials and tribulations.  I've been dealing with an anxiety that never knew existed and it has been so consuming it is frustrating.  I have also struggled immensely with my balance of time.  (I am ashamed to even admit this, but we are FOUR MONTHS behind on the most important part of our record keeping to me - our family blog.  And this you already know because of the lack of fall/winter posts all together... Sorry.)

I know that years come and go like the ebb and flow of waves in an ocean.  Some are bigger and greater, some are smaller and less significant.  I also know this time is fleeting and I do not whatsoever want to "wish away" my time.  But I am looking forward to a new year.  A new beginning, a fresh start.

2015 is going to be big, folks!  I can't make any promises that it will be easier than 2014, as a matter of fact, it will probably be harder, but I can assure you that we will all continue to learn and grow, we will be grateful for the waves that life sends our way for these are our opportunities, and we will enjoy the ride we're on!
