Florida Vacation - Part III - Days 4-7 - Orlando, FL

Ok, since I'm still incredibly behind in posts I'm going to share the rest of our trip in an album of photos and sum it up quickly.

We had a great time together.  We really enjoyed watching Kate see so many characters and we enjoyed this time with just her, for in just a few months, it will be her and her little sis.  We are so glad we were able to take this trip and are very much looking forward to our next adventure to Disney!

Eyebrow Eczema

One of the many perks of being pregnant is your ever changing skin and hair.  As we've entered our third trimester, my newest pregnancy perk is something that I like to call "eyebrow eczema".  I have no clue where this came from, nor do I have any idea when it will go away, but right on my eyelids right below my eyebrows are red, itchy, dry patches of skin that have appeared out of nowhere.  I can only assume it is part of being pregnant!

I confirmed with my OB today that there is nothing to be worried about.  She said it may just be related to all the hormones going through your body while you are pregnant.  Nonetheless, she said to check with my normal practitioner to see what kind of remedies are out there.

In baby news, all is going very, very well.  We have a healthy, growing baby and Mama!  I gained another seven pounds this past month which, again, is a bit shocking, but perhaps that's how my body is doing it this pregnancy.  And at today's appointment I was tested for gestational diabetes with the wonderful glucola drink.  My doctor will call and update me with test results should anything be a bit wonky!

In other pregnancy related news, our appointments are now scheduled every two weeks!  Every two weeks!  How is this possible?!  We're are going to meet our newest little lady much sooner than later!!

UPDATE
A coworker of mine suggested using coconut oil on these dry patches and wouldn't you know, that oil cleared them up in about four days!!!  I was so impressed and I highly recommend coconut oil for everything now!

Florida Vacation - Part III - Day 3 - Orlando, FL - Epcot

After our stay at Clearwater, we all hopped in the car and drove the quick trip up and over to Orlando, FL to DISNEY!  We were all SUPER excited about this part of our trip and totally made the most of our time!  I'll narrate through our photos and let the pictures do most of the talkin'!

Day 3 of our trip - EPCOT
Since most of our morning was spent driving to Orlando and checking into our amazing hotel (more on that later!) and getting settled, we decided to keep our first day low key at a slower park.  We headed to Epcot.

Waiting in line for the boat over to Epcot.

Incredible Swan & Dolphin Hotel!

Mommy and Kate on the way to Epcot!

Arrived and headed to walk around.

The first princess we saw was Sleeping Beauty.  Kate was a bit
shy and didn't want me to put her down.

Saying our hello's!

Princess Aurora, Kate, and Mommy.

Next stop, fruit snack break!

Just sitting on the curb having a little snack!

Waiting in line for our next princess, Kate's
favorite, Belle!

This next time, Kate had no fear.  She stood in line and when it
was her turn she walked right up to Belle and gave her a big hug!

I guess when she's your favorite it's different!

Belle thought it would be nice to read Frozen together sometime!

And Kate would love that too!

Papaw and Mimi at Epcot!

Getting ready to ride The Seas with Nemo & Friends.

But first, a walk along the rock wall.

And a quick hello to Nemo!

Exploring the aquarium after the ride.

What is it about aquarium pics?!

They are just so cute.

That's why...

...I had to put all five of these in...

Next stop we saw Chip and Dale and we learned that Chip has
a little black nose like a chocolate chip and Dale's nose is
reddish brown.

Group photo with Chip and Dale!

A hug goodbye for Dale...

...And a kiss on the head goodbye from Chip!
We visited Epcot during the International Flower and Garden
exhibit and the displays of flowers were gorgeous!

And on our way out of the park, we ran into Pluto!

Those are some big paws!

Pluto and Kate - a fast fav!

And a big hug for the goodbye!

Being silly with Mimi and Papaw!

On our first night at Disney, we had dinner
reservations at Chef Mickey's at the
Contemporary Resort.
Giving Goofy "five"!

He makes us laugh!

Playing with his whiskers!

Goofy and Papaw!
A big hug for Mickey!

Mickey actually sat down at the table with us!

And it appeared that he and Kate had a conversation!

Making Mickey laugh!

Papaw, Mickey, and Mimi!

When Donald stopped by, Kate fully expected him to sit as well.

But he was just there to say hello!

Big smiles for Minnie!

And a big hug too!

Kate, Minnie and Mommy!

And our last visitor was from Pluto with those
massive paws!  (Love how she looks at those!)

Also love how she looks at him!

Pluto's ear!

Hiding behind Pluto's ear!

Silly Pluto!

We had a great first day at Disney.  Epcot and Chef Mickey's were good choices!

Stay tuned for FL Vacation day #4 - Magic Kingdom!
